NES-3001 is the new flagship Neotech speaker cable. It provides a warm and deep sound made possible by a unique configuration and individual Teflon insulated conductors.

The Neotech NES-3001 consists of 16 conductors, 6 red, 6 black and 4 clear – each conductor has an external diameter of 2.1mm and an inner of 1.1mm (17awg) which is solid UP-OCC copper (6 cores = 9awg, 10 cores = 7awg). These are then braided raound a central PVC core, and sleeved in a nylon braided expandable sleeving.

Neotech has long been a leader in producing wire and cable using “single crystal” UP-OCC Copper, developed by Professor Ohno of the China Institute of Technology in Japan. UP-OCC copper is at least 99.99998% pure, and has an average crystal size of 125 meters. Compare this to the average crystal size of Oxygen Free Copper, which is .02 meters (3/4″). UP-OCC copper and silver are considered the ultimate in copper and silver conductor technology today.

Neotech NES-3002

A high level of Neotech speaker cable, the NES-3002 cable is quite literally a pipe, with an external diameter of 23mm. The outer covering is a green expandable sleeving then a PVC covering and a non-woven fabric and embedded in polypropylene material are the 2 conductors, red and green. Each conductor is made up of 19 individually sheathed UP-OCC copper solid core stands, giving a combined diameter of 2.9mm, 9 AWG.

This cable offers an amazing range and an extremely powerful bass. The NES-3002 cable is sold in 1 metre continuous lengths. to make 2m stereo speaker cables, 4m are required.

Neotech NES 3005 II

UP-OCC copper and silver are considered the ultimate in copper and silver conductor technology today.

The Neotech NES-3005II consists of 6 conductors, 3 red and 3 black, each conductor has an external diameter of 2.15mm and an inner of 1.15mm consisting of multi-stranded UP-OCC copper. Each conductor is made of the following combination; 2x 0.5mm, 6x 0.23mm and 32x 0.08mm diameter strands of copper, and silver-plated copper. The approx. guage of each conductor is 18 AWG.

The overall guage of positive and negative channel is 13AWG each.

Speaker wiring: One length is a mono length to drive one speaker. Connect all 3 black conductors for the negative and wire at each end with a suitable connector, similarly connect all 3 red conductors for the positive.

The Neotech NES-3004 MKII consists of an outer blue PVC insulation, marked with the cable type and direction arrows, the overall diameter is 13mm. Central to the cable is a white PVC ventral cord around which are 8 conductors, 4 red and 4 black (PVC insulation), alternate colours as you go round. An additional 2 conductors than the NES-3005.

Each individual conductor is made from UP-OCC copper, each wire consists of number individual conductors that are a multi size mix – the Hybrid design means that the conuctors are a mix of pure UPOCC copper and silver plated UPOCC capper strands.

The dimensions of one conductor (1 red or black conductor) is 3.5mm external diameter, and 1.3mm (16awg) wire diameter. The overall size of the conductors (all red or all black conductors) is 11 AWG (2.3mm diameter). Due to the high AWG figure of each conductor, the cable could happily be used for bi-wiring.

Neotech Nemos-1160

The NEMOS series from Neotech is the result of extensive research in the field of audio cable.
The UP-OCC is considered the “ultimate” driver used to date. It is a special constant temperature copper extrusion process leading to a “mono-crystaline” copper structure.
Thus the signal passes without rupture and impurity with a better resistance to corrosion over time. Thanks to its PTFE insulation and OCC copper, this cable will retain its natural properties.
