Neotech NEP-3200 Solid – Power cable is the top model of the line of power cables of the company of Professor Oino on the basis of monocrystalline copper. Neotech NEP-3200 power cable uses 16 monocular conductors of 1.0 mm² section made of ultra-pure UP-OCC copper. <p>Neotech has been producing outstanding cables since 1980, and has long been a leader in producing wire and cable using «single crystal» UP-OCC Copper, developed by Professor Ohno of the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan. UP-OCC copper is at least 99.99998% pure, and has an average crystal size of 125 meters (410 feet)! Compare this to the average crystal size of Oxygen Free Copper, which is .02 meters (3/4″). UP-OCC copper and silver are considered the ultimate in copper and silver conductior technology today.</p>
<p>The Neotech NEP-3200 is a 9AWG UP-OCC (ohno continuous cast) Copper AC power cable, that uses 16 solid copper wires that are each 17 AWG. Each of these solid core wires is individually insulated with FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation. Each wire is woven around a fiber-filled PVC core to maintain structural integrity, and minimize conductor movement. The Neotech NEP-3200 is among the best bulk cables on the market, and is especially ideal for high current amplifiers, as well as feeding power strips. Use the 6 red color-coded conductors for ‘hot’, 6 blue conductors for ‘neutral’, and 4 black conductors for the ‘safety ground’. Total O.D. is .614″ (15.6mm).</p>

Power Chord follows the “if it isn’t broken don’t fix it” thought process. It took us a long time to produce our first mains cable. We had experimented a lot but couldn’t produce consistent results from system to system. It took the development and production of Chord Signature speaker cable for us to understand how to make a power cable that would produce the same improvement regardless of the system. The crucial area of importance is the shielding, which is effective to very high frequencies. Apart from the colour, the only thing to change in ten years of production is the density of the dual layer shielding, the heavy gauge, high purity, copper conductors are the same as originally used.</p>
<p>The need to for hi-fi owners to experiment with shielded power cables like the Power Chord is becoming ever more necessary. High frequency interference has only increased and the Power Chord is still a very effective way of dealing with it. Borrow one and try it with your source component. It’s easy to hear what effective shielding can do and when you’ve proved it to yourself, experiment with amplifiers, pre amps and power amplifiers as well.</p>

<p>What does S.R.C. means ?<br />
S.R.C. means &#8220;controlled rotation phase shift&#8221; which is an electronic induction treatment<br />
magnetic property of Airtech, which works mainly on the molecular grid of copper with the<br />
permanent result of the cable conduction growth factor, a greater linearity of the<br />
signal transmission and better response six transients greatly improving the range<br />
dynamic and leaving the signal unchanged also thanks to the removal of all the alterations due to the<br />
