Capodoperele materializate sub bagheta carismaticului Frank Kuzma sunt dovada clasică a ceea ce poate fi construit atunci când pasiunea pentru muzică şi geniul ingineresc se întâlnesc. Povestea de succes a producătorului sloven a început în anul 1982 o dată cu primul model STABI, un nume ce avea să facă istorie în următoarele decenii, a continuat cu lansarea braţelor STOGI, renumite prin calitatea excepţională a fabricaţiei, iar apogeul a fost atins în anul 1990 o dată cu lansarea modelului de vârf Stabi Reference, considerat şi azi, după mai bine de 20 de ani, unul dintre cele mai bune pickup-uri din lume.

Este un brat de tip unipivot cu lungimea de 9”, cu headshell rigid, fabricat dintr-un singur bloc de aluminiu, cu o baza de alama ce controleaza toate vibratiile si faciliteaza stabilitatea bratului ca un tot unitar. Toate partile bratului sunt prelucrate dintr-un bloc de metal solid, pentru a asigura amortizarea si reducerea rezonantelor. Axul polisat sta intr-o baie de ulei, ceea ce asigura o frecare si o vibratie minima. Pentru un tracking optim inaltimea rulmentului corespunde cu nivelul discului de vinil. Tratamentul cu silicon asigura controlul rezonantei dozei si a acuratetii directiei acesteia.
Doua contragreutati permit reglarea cu usurinta a azimutului si a fortei de apasare. Azimutul este obtinut foarte simplu prin rotirea unui surub situat in contragreutate, reglaj ce nu afecteaza alti parametri ai bratului.
Cablarea este dintr-o singura bucata, din headshell pana la conectorii RCA, la comanda se pot monta conectori balansati (XLR).

Unique feature: Most parts are glued together for rigidity and damping. We use very precise stainless steel ball bearings same as used in gyroscopes precisely mounted with zero play and very low starting and running friction and noise levels. Each bearing from factory is vacuum sealed with serial number for quality control. Each bearing's load is 20 kg. Two are used for vertical and two for horizontal movement.

This is a very rigid medium mass tonearm with precision ball bearings which, while withstanding very heavy loads, displays extremely low starting and running friction and noise levels. The main frame and all other parts are machined from solid aluminium and brass blocks. Some parts are anodised and some are not, in order to help control tonearm resonance. The headshell provides a stable cartridge mounting, while the internally damped tube connects this to the massive bearing parts where any vibration or noise is dispersed. Most parts are glued together for rigidity and damping.

A straight tube is machined from aluminium rod fixed on brass support to increase tube damping.
Azimuth is adjusted by releasing a locking screw and manual rotation of tube on brass support.

A decoupled brass counterweight controls balance and adjusts tracking force, while damping vibration in the tube. The massive arm base serves to clamp the tonearm rigidly to the armboard. All bearings are pre-loaded and glued into position which, while damping vibrations in them, also provides long lasting, zero play, low friction and low noise level in the bearings. VTA adjustment is made by raising or lowering the tonearm in the arm base itself.

Wires are in one length from cartridge pins to RCA connectors. High quality wires are incorporated into our own cable. It is also possible to use the tonearm in a balanced ( XLR) or 5pin configuration.
