Dither, a modulated noise floor to minimize DAC distortion, can be activated for each input. The difference is subtle, but especially those who like to hear recordings from the early days of the CD will appreciate the better flow in the music presentation.

The USB input offers the option of bypassing the sampling rate converter on the digital board. Upsampling can thus be set on the computer side and passed on directly to the DAC. Since the USB input is managed by its own processor, there is also a socket for software updates by the sales department on the board itself.
The coaxial and the AES-EBU input are galvanically isolated and there is therefore no hum to be feared if e.g. a cable box forwards the television sound digitally.

In terms of sound, the Audia Flight FLS digital board can easily compete with current DA converters in the even higher price range. The owner has already invested in the high costs for the housing and power supply of such a device when purchasing the FLS device. An additional power cable and small signal cable are also not necessary and of course the FLS device processes the signals of the digital board fully symmetrically.

The digital board can be combined with the phono board or RCA board. The digital board and the XLR board cannot be operated at the same time.
