Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is very easy to place the Labrador 39 speakers indoors – it will satisfy modern aesthetic criteria and at the same time its music performance is accurate, faithful and lively.

The two-way Labrador 39 speaker has a bass reflex with a bass reflex located on the front wall. The atypical box in the shape of a trapezoid is the result of accurate measurements and the chosen shape has its justification.
It maximizes rigidity while minimizing parallel areas. It is the parallel-oriented surfaces that cause standing waves inside the speakers. If a sound wave propagates between them, it then bounces off the wall like an image from a mirror and an undesirable superposition occurs – a phenomenon in which a new sound wave appears on its way in the
same place with the original just reflected. In such cases, some frequencies begin to amplify and others to undesired distortion. The sound is in these unpleasant cases, without size and detail – a typical expression of speakers. The shape of the Labrador 39 speaker alone has minimized the effect of parallel surfaces. Another positive factor is the small area of the individual walls, because small areas resist resonances much better.

Thanks to its concept and shape, it is possible to place the speakers in any interior, whether in furniture, directly on the wall, or alternatively in a corner. Labrador 39 can be used as front speakers in a smaller room, bedroom, study or as rear (side) speakers for home theater systems, where, on the contrary, they are also suitable for large rooms. In all applications, the trapezoidal shape of the box is beneficial and the result will be
a precise harmonic sound with a solid bass base, fine detail and excellent localization.

The 5-inch Scan-Speak mid-bass speaker in a solid cast aluminum basket with a glass fiber membrane was chosen for mounting, and the Vifa precision tweeter with a 1 “textile dome and ferrofluid cooling is fitted as a tweeter.

The sophisticated second-order electronic switch is located on the panel and all components are hot-soldered using the D2D method.
